After recieving my first live-brief on Wednesday, I excitedly collected my equipment from the photography store this morning with the intention of spending the day wandering around Manchester City Centre and gathering some images for my first assignment.
Sadly, the weather today is horrendous so I am sat at home frustrated and hoping for a break in the weather.
According to the BBC weather forecast, www.bbc.co.uk/weather the rain is due to continue until around 7.00pm tonight.
I had planned to try and shoot some photographs of Manchester at night so this looks like my only opportunity to take some pictures today.
Looks like I'll be spending the rest of the afternoon familiarizing myself with the Nikon D90 that I have borrowed for the weekend. Not as complicated as I had first thought. A very nice piece of kit indeed with some very clever features.
